Teeth whitening can indeed brighten your smile and is great if you are happy with the general appearance of your teeth, but it’s not as effective if you’ve got uneven teeth, gaps, chips or permanent stains. Instead, veneers cover the teeth for a straighter and more appealing smile.
Usually between four and six weeks, including an initial consultation, taking impressions of your teeth so we can make the veneers, and a return visit when they’ll be placed on your existing teeth. At East Park Dental, we can plan the total look you want, so if we’re changing the look of your teeth we may want to take a little longer with temporary veneers to make sure you like the look.
We’ll take away a layer of the outer enamel to prepare your teeth for veneers, once this is done, the treatment is not reversible.
Many veneers need to replaced every 10 years, with just a little maintenance in between.
We will ensure your temporary veneers look completely natural so you’re totally happy with them.
